Curly tea leaves are black in color with golden tips. It smells of raisins, honey and daisies. The tea offers a deep red to chocolate-colored infusion that smells richly of malt, raisins, honey and licorice. The taste is full with a distinct texture that coats the tongue and throat much like honey. It is complex with a malt finish that harmonizes with the typical bitterness of black Assam.
