The Omei Shan monastery is the first Buddhist monastery built in China. It became one of the monasteries which was able over the centuries to freely develop Shaolin Kung Fu. The monastery was always decorated by wild growing orchids, and over time this flower became one of its symbols. Old Luk On, which obtained its name precisely from this flower, in its raw, earthy aroma and taste, intentionally flavoured with orchid blossom, can convey to you the atmosphere of this old monastery. This tea produces a dark infusion, which is accompanied with an earthy aroma refined with orchid.
